Join us on an adventure!

Volunteers are the people who enable Waypoint Adventure to fulfill its mission. Each volunteer is an invaluable part of this organization. No prior experience required but trainings are offered periodically. By volunteering on programs, you help challenge people with disabilities to discover their purpose, potential, and abilities through the transforming power of adventure.

  • NEW VOLUNTEERS: If you are new to volunteering with us, please do ALL of the following:
  1. Review our "Volunteer Eligibility Requirements,"
  2. Register under the "New Volunteer Sign Ups 2026" tab below by clicking 'Express Register.' 
    • You will need to create a Jumbula account, fill out our medical/ liability waiver with your information, and complete the 'Volunteer Application Form.' We will only contact you if we have questions regarding your CORI, otherwise you are good to come on a program.
  3. Once you have created a Jumbula account, look through all the programs listed below and sign up for a program you would like to join by selecting 'Express Register'
  • Make sure to review all the information on the registration page. Our registration pages include important information about meeting locations and packing lists, so please review thoroughly!
  • Please sign up only for programs that you are comfortable volunteering on; ie: Please only sign up for rock climbing and ropes course programs if you are comfortable belaying. Only sign up for cycling programs if you are comfortable controlling a tandem bike. Only sign up for kayaking programs if you are comfortable paddling a tandem kayak.
  • Want to join a program but can only commit to part of the shift? Contact the Program Team at [email protected]. We prefer volunteers to join us for the entire time listed on the program, but can be flexible in some cases.
