Description

We are so excited to have you join us for the next LIT program on Saturday July 19th! Please see below for some program details:

Program Location:

Please arrive to Cochituate State Park (43 Commonwealth Rd., Natick, MA) at 9am on 7.19 (unless we’ve discussed otherwise). Waypoint staff will be there to meet you! There is a fee to park at this location, but the Waypoint staff will connect with you to cover the cost of parking. 

 

Itinerary:

9am: Meet Waypoint staff at site location

9-9:45am: Review lesson plan, set up program materials/equipment, etc.

9:45-10am: Participants arrive in vans from WPA office

10am-12pm: Programming

12pm: Lunch

12:30pm-2:30pm: Programming

2:30pm: Participants depart

2:30-3pm: Clean up site, re-pack program materials/equipment

3pm: Volunteer and staff leave site

 


Packing List:

Please bring/wear the following items (we can provide extras of most items if needed, just let me know!):

  • Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting wet or bathing suit
  • Sandals (ones with a strap to secure to foot)
  • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
  • Small backpack to carry your items (extra dry bags available)
  • Water bottle
  • Lunch and snack
  • Rain jacket
  • Any personal medications or medical supplies you may need
