Description

The hike is in partnership with The Great Malden Outdoors and Malden Recreation.

 

Location: Waitts Mount

Parking Lot Address: Leonard Street Malden, MA (closest address is for a house next to the road to the parking lot at 79 Leonard St - see map for info)

Public transportation option: The 137 bus route drops off nearby or the Orange Line Oak Grove stop is 0.6 miles away.

Conditions: Paved trail leading up to the climbing wall.

Bathrooms: There are no bathrooms at this location.

What to bring:

  • Small back pack or bag to carry your things
  • Clothes comfortable for climbing - easy to move or bend in
  • Lunch
  • Water bottle
  • Sun protection (hat, glasses, sunscreen)
  • Rock climbing gear (harness, belay devices, helmet, rock climbing shoes - we can provide all if needed)
