02.07.25 Indoor Rock Climbing 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

If you have not registered in Jumbula before, please first create an account using our  Volunteer Sign Ups 2025 page and then register for this program.

This is a program for students from a BPS school. As a volunteer you will be helping with tasks such as:

• Community building by engaging with students
• Belaying climbers (if belayed certified)
• Helping manage gear
• Encouraging participants as they challenge themselves!

Schedule:

• 9:00am: Volunteers arrive and get acquainted
• 9:15am: Learn about the participants and the days lesson plan
• 9:45am: Prep the space
• 10:00am: Students arrive/Opening Circle
• 10:10am: Game/Get Ready/Climbing Demonstrations
• 10:30am: Climb
• 11:45am: Return Gear/Transition to Lunch
• 12:15pm: Closing Circle with Participants
• 12:30pm: Participants leave/Volunteers debrief program with staff 
• 12:45pm: Clean Up 
• 1:00pm: Staff and volunteers leave

Parking: There is ample free parking in the parking lots/garages within the Arsenal Yards complex. Accessible parking is available directly across from the gym. 

Meeting Location: Come to the front desk inside of the gym and the gym staff will direct you to our meeting location.

Waivers: Please fill out the following CRG Gym Waivers if you have not already prior to arriving on the program.

• General Waiver
• Bouldering Orientation Waiver
• Autobelay Waiver

Bathroom: There is a bathroom at this location.

Instructors: 

What To Wear/Pack:

• Comfortable/athletic clothes
• Water bottle
• Snacks/Lunch
• Climbing gear (if you don't have your own we will provide it to you)
