Description

Read carefully before signing up:

This is a unique program for Carter School students and their families. Carter high school students have the most complex learning, medical, and physical disabilities in Boston Public Schools. We anticipate somewhere between 10-15 families will attend this event. We will have food catered for lunch for all, including volunteers. For volunteer roles for this program, we need highly experienced kayakers as well as folks to help coordinate on land to help families, play with siblings, help us transfer students into boats. If you have any questions about the fit of this program for you as a volunteer, please email [email protected] before signing up. It's Eileen's favorite day of the year :)

**IMPORTANT FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS: We're so glad you're here! If this is your first time registering to volunteer on any Waypoint Adventure program, please review our volunteer eligibility requirements. If you meet the requirements, you should complete our general volunteer registration HERE in order to provide some necessary information. Then, you may review our program calendar and sign up to volunteer on specific programs, like this one! Questions? Email Carly at [email protected] **
