Location: S. Border Road Parking Lot, Middlesex Fells, Medford. On Google Maps type in "South Border Road Parking Lot". Closest address is 64 South Border Road, Medford, MA 02155, which is the address for a house across the street from the entrance to the parking lot.

Conditions:  This route contains unpaved trails with rocks, roots, and uphill travel.

Bathrooms: There are no bathrooms at this location.

What to bring:

  • Small back pack or bag to carry your things
  • Clothes to cover all skin (long pants/socks for tick protection)
  • Lunch and/or Snack for the trail
  • Water bottle
  • Sun protection (hat, glasses, lotion)
  • Bug lotion
  • Lace-up sneakers or hiking boots
