05.16.24-05.17.24 Backpacking

Previous backpacking experience (either with Waypoint or recreationally) required to sign up for this program! 

Location: Sawyer Pond (NH); 2 Morey Road, Hart's Location, NH 03812 (this is not the exact address, but the closest numbered address to the trailhead); GPS PIN

Initial Meeting Location: At the Waypoint Adventure office in the early morning of 5/16 (instructor will communicate exact timing). Waypoint Adventure will provide transportation to and from the trailhead. We will arrive back at the Waypoint office on 5/17 in the afternoon.

Conditions:  We will hike through the woods on natural paths with roots and rocks. There will be up and down hills as well as minor stream crossings. 

Bathrooms: There are no bathrooms at the trailhead. There is a pit toilet at the campsite. We will stop along the drive up and down for a bathroom break.

What to bring: Please email/call instructor for complete packing list. Waypoint will be able to provide most of the essential backpacking gear.
