Join us for Winter Adventures at Weston. Weston Ski Track is a cross-country ski/snowshoe center in Weston, that makes fresh snow on-site. If you can only attend for part of the training, please let us know after signing up.

Volunteer Roles/Responsibilities: 

  • Set up and put away equipment 
  • Assist participants into equipment
  • Walk, ski, or snowshoe, and push kick-sled/sit-skis with participants
  • Play snow games and have fun!
  • Organize base camp

 

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Do you need to know to cross-country ski to volunteer?
    • No! we need volunteers to push kick-sleds/sit-skis, to snowshoe and play snow games.
  • How can I learn to ski? 
    • Attend this training! You can also take time to ski before and/or after programs to develop your skills.

 

About Training: We will go over cross-country skiing, kick-sleds, snowshoeing, and other cross-country skiing program logistics. No cross-country skiing experience necessary. We will be outside the entirety of the training, so plan and dress accordingly.
