Description

This Waypoint Canoe program will give you access to some beautiful ponds and waterways in the greater Boston area. Enjoy the fun and serenity of the water all while being part of a supportive community. Benefit from the wide array of adaptive canoe equipment and instruction designed to meet your individual needs. Our highly trained staff will instruct, support, and encourage you as you learn new skills or further develop your existing ones. All canoe programs will be custom designed to fit the needs of you and/or your group.

Location: Whitehall State Park - 299 Wood St., Hopkinton

Conditions: We will paddle in and around the shores and waters of Whitehall State Park. The Whitehall Reservoir is a large relatively calm lake with an abundance of inlets and islands to be explored! Motorized boats are allowed, however they are regulated to stay below 12 MPH and are mostly fishermen trolling about.

Bathrooms: There will be a porta potty at this site.

What to bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Sandals with a heel strap or sneakers that you don't mind getting wet
  • Sunglasses with a strap
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
