This is s two part series (Series 1 is 9/17/25 at 10am and series 2 is 10/8/25) Please note you are registering for both sessions.
Have you ever wanted to try adaptive mountain biking? All experience levels are welcome.
Join us for a hands-on Adaptive Mountain Bike Series hosted by Waypoint Adventure and Empower SCI! Whether you’re new to adaptive cycling or a seasoned rider looking to explore the latest off-road options, this ride is designed to help you find your fit and fuel your adventure.
This series is specifically designed to prepare you with the skills, practice, and confidence leading up to the annual Knobby Tire Ride & Roll event in October. You’ll have the chance to build your riding experience step by step, while connecting with others in a supportive community.
What to Expect
Available Bikes
Bowhead RX – cutting-edge, full-suspension e-assist handcycle built for rugged terrain
Bowhead Rogue (x2) – two off-road e-assist handcycles, including one customized for quadriplegic use
You’ll have the chance to ride on a mix of double track surface, grassy fields, and gravel road. This is your chance to explore what’s possible and see which adaptive mountain bike fits you best.

What to Bring
- Water bottle
- Sun protection and/or rain gear as needed
-Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for active movement and helmet if you have one. We can provide one if needed.
