If taking the T, it is approximately a 5 minute walk from Orient Heights Station to the beach parking lot on Barnes Avenue. If driving, there is a parking lot. Conditions: Constitution Beach in East Boston is on the ocean. We will mostly stay in the sheltered bay area by the airport and may venture out towards Belle Isle Marsh depending on conditions. Water may be choppy depending on the winds. We may experience boat traffic from some sailboats and motor boats and will need to avoid swimmers near the beach area. The launch area is a sandy beach with about a ~100 ft distance down to the water depending on the tides. We will have chariot wheels for a kayak, and there is also a mobi mat that goes partially down the beach for accessibility.
