About:

Come spend a weekend with us on the shores of beautiful Tully Lake for some quintessential summer fun. The lake covers 200 acres, and contains access to several waterfalls! We will paddle from the visitors center to our campsite, exploring and taking in little wonders along the way. We will set up camp, cook dinner, and prepare to spend a night together sleeping under the stars (in tents!).

If you have ever wanted to try camping with Waypoint, but are hesitant about backpacking, then this could be the program for you! While we will still work hard to paddle our boats, it is a nice alternative to having to carry all of our gear on our backs, while still providing a rustic, camping experience.

You will also learn essential lessons about paddling technique, how to set up a campsite, cooking in the backcountry, map and compass, communication, and perseverance all while part of a supportive group.

Waypoint is able to provide adaptive canoe, hike, and camping equipment. If you have questions about our gear or accommodations we can provide, please contact us.

The program fee for this trip is $220 for one person. Price covers lodging, transportation, all meals, equipment, guided paddling, hiking, and camping, and a custom designed itinerary around group goals. Scholarships are available upon request! General Itinerary:

Saturday

- 8:00am meet at the Waypoint office on 453 Concord Ave. in Lexington

- Quick opening circle and gear check then hit the road! (about a 1.5 hr drive)

-12:00pm Lunch and pack Canoes

- 1:00pm Begin our Paddle! 

- 4:00pm Set up Camp! Dinner, fun, and games to follow!

Sunday

- Breakfast and morning paddle!

- Pack up Camp 

- Eat lunch and start our drive

- Arrive back at Waypoint Adventure's office at 2:00pm
