09.08-09.25 Friendship Home backpacking

This is the sign-up registration page for Friendship Home for the 9 programs/events with Waypoint Adventure. Addresses, times, and other important logistics for all these programs will be emailed out to participants/staff prior to the program.

Programs and locations: 

• Introduction Meeting: April 10th 2024 at Friendship Home
• Ropes Course: April 29 2024 at Hale Reservation, 80 Carby St, Westwood, MA 02090
• Hike: May 21st 2024 at World's End Reservation, Hingham
• Outdoor Rock Climbing June 17th 2024 at Hammond Pond Reservation, Hammond Pond Pkwy, Chestnut Hill, MA (Rain date June 24th 2024)
• Outdoor Kayaking July 15th 2024 at Stetson Pond, Braintree, MA (Rain date July 22nd 2024)
• Hiking August 19th 2024 at Wompatuck State Park
• Backpacking Pre-Trip Meeting September 5th 2024 at Friendship Home
• Backpacking September 9th and 10th 2024 at Location to be determined
• Banquet September 26th 2024 at Friendship Home

Location: Varying depending on program type. Waypoint will communicate with Friendship Home location logistics prior to program.

Bathrooms: There will most likely not be a bathroom at most program locations. Waypoint will communicate with Friendship Home otherwise.

What to typically bring on a Waypoint Program:

• Small back pack or bag to carry your things
• Layers (jacket, fleece, gloves, hat, rain gear etc.)
• Bathing suit (kayaking only)
• Towel (kayaking only)
• Extra clothes and plastic bag to put wet clothes (kayaking only)
  
• Water
• Snacks
• Lunch
• Sun protection
  
• Sneakers, hiking boots, watershoes, or snow boots (depending on weather and program type)
