Description

Join Waypoint's Leaders-in-Training to learn paddling skills on the beautiful Charles River! This cohort of young adults with disabilities has been developing leadership skills over the past several months, and are excited to put these skills into action. This sign-up is for school-aged children who are interested in learning paddling skills from our Leaders-in-Training.

Location/Directions: The boat launch is a parking lot across from the address provided. The coordinates for the parking lot are: 42.36285064706345, -71.24489185087008.

Conditions: Boat launch is slanted pavement off a parking lot and next to a dock. Parking lot has shade. Paddling will be in a fresh water river. Maximum paddling distance is 2 miles.

Bathrooms: There will be an ADA accessible portapotty. There is also a Burger King less than a 1/2 mile away.

What to Bring:

  • Water Bottle
  • Sandals with a heel strap or sneakers you don't mind getting wet
  • Sunglasses with a strap
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
